BS Earth Science/Physics, University of California Santa Cruz, 1977. MS Geologic Sciences, Brown University, 1982. Entire career in the geothermal industry, including 13 years assigned in the Philippines. Have served two previous terms on NGAP, as Board member 2009 – 2012, and Vice President 2015 – 2018, attending at least 80% of BoT meetings during those terms. NGAP service has included arranging technical lectures, participating in NGAP Roadshow, serving as Acting President, and evaluating and pursuing geothermal policy goals. If elected to serve again, my priorities will include the continuing fight to preserve and enhance government policies that foster geothermal growth, and promoting technical progress that can help existing fields operate more economically and allow new greenfield developments to take wing.
