Over 28 years of significant involvement in the geothermal energy industry. Worked as geologist (1989-1994) and geochemist (1995-2004) in various exploration, development and production fields of the Energy Development Corporation (formerly PNOC-EDC). Served as Geo-services Senior Supervisor (2004-2010) and Head of Resource Management Department (2010-2016) in the Southern Negros (Palinpinon) geothermal production field of EDC’s Negros Island Geothermal Business unit. He joined Premier Geo-Exel, Inc. in 2017 as Partner/Director and works as geochemist for its geothermal exploration projects.
A former Director and Chairperson of Information and Education Committee of NGAP in 2009-2012. He obtained a Diploma in Geothermal Energy Technology from the University of Auckland, New Zealand (1994) and a BS degree in Geology from the University of the Philippines (1983). Has authored and presented technical reports to annual geothermal conference of PNOC-EDC, to World Geothermal Congress (2000/2010) and to the annual geological convention of the Geological Society of the Philippines.
