Welcome to the National Geothermal Association of the Philippines. It is a privilege to be part of this organization of professionals that promote the development and sustainability of geothermal energy in the country.
With the election of new set of Board of Trustees in 2018, NGAP will be undertaking a number of activities on several fronts that aims to re-connect the association with its members. One important activity will be engaging the students, professionals, and other institutions on geothermal energy. We will also be actively campaigning for our association’s interests with the DOE, Congress and Senate for their continued support to renewable energy in the country, especially on geothermal. With continuous changes in government policies and regulations, our industry is constantly being challenged. But no task is difficult with the strong support of our industry and association members. Our efforts will constantly be communicated through this medium with the revival of our NGAP news articles.
NGAP will also continue to collaborate with the International Geothermal Association on how our members can optimize the value of our affiliation with the international geothermal community. We will also strengthen our collaboration with our Asian neighbors on how NGAP can capitalize on our expertise and assist in promoting geothermal development in the region.
As we usher in paving the way for the next round of geothermal growth in the country, we would like to recognize our Members and Board of Trustees in their continued support to the association. The challenges will not be as exciting without your endless and unselfish support.
