Maibarara Geothermal Power Plant

Location: Bay and Calauan, Laguna; Sto. Tomas, Batangas
Comissioning: April 26, 1979
Description: MakBan Geothermal Power Plant has 12 generating units, including a binary plant, which are housed in separate power stations. It is the only indigenous baseload plant in Luzon that has better grid stability and availability.
